A native of the Groton area, Alex earned a Bachelor’s degree in Global Studies, with minors in business and Spanish before graduating from the Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law in Indianapolis. She competed on the UNL Mock Trial team and served as Executive Symposium Publication Editor of the Indiana International Comparative Law Review and Treasurer for the Environmental Law Society. In addition, her note was published into the Indiana International and Comparative Law Review: Volume 35, No. 3.
Her practice areas include estate planning, wills and trusts, probate, corporate/business law, real estate and agricultural law. She has been admitted to the South Dakota Bar Association and is a member of both the South Dakota Bar Association and the Brown County Bar Association.
She and her husband, Lane, reside in Groton with their three four-legged “kids,” including a chocolate lab, golden retriever and tabby cat.
